Vet Fatigue Report - 05.14.25

Darnell Mooney | WR | ATL

Dynasty Nerds - WR55 Dynasty Daddy - WR60 KTC - WR63

Darnell Mooney has been tumbling down dynasty rankings like he forgot how stairs work. He burned managers during the fantasy playoffs last year, and the community hasn’t forgiven him — WR63 heading into the season says it all.

But here’s the twist: he was actually useful for most of the year. Six top-20 finishes in 13 games? That’s strong flex output, and he’s still in Atlanta as the WR2 behind Drake London. Sure, Pitts is there too, but we’ve all read that script before.

This isn’t a guy you target because you love him — it’s because nobody else does. Rebuilders will toss him for a late 3rd, and contenders looking for depth should be all over that.

Verdict: Buy for a 3rd.

Jordan Mason | RB | MINN

Dynasty Nerds - RB62 Dynasty Daddy - RB46 KTC - RB46

Jordan Mason came out of the gates like he’d been personally trained by a fire-breathing Shanahan. With CMC sidelined to start 2024, Mason lit it up — 20 PPG through four games — before injuries derailed everything (shoulder, then IR by Week 13). Gurrendo took over. The hype died. And dynasty managers moved on like goldfish.

But here’s what they missed: the 49ers gave him a 2nd-round tender, clearly expecting him to be CMC’s primary backup. Then Minnesota traded for him to pair with Aaron Jones. And now? He’s buried in rankings behind a dozen rookies who haven’t seen a carry yet.

This is prime contender value: a dusty RB you can scoop for a late 2nd/early 3rd, who already flashed league-winning upside. If Jones gets banged up (and history suggests he will), Mason's in the flex conversation immediately.

Verdict: Contender buy. Ignore the rookie hype and go get this undervalued workhorse-in-waiting.

Rhamondre Stevenson | RB | NE

Dynasty Nerds - RB35 Dynasty Daddy - RB51 KTC - RB50

I get it — this is a depreciating asset. The shine’s worn off, the offense is being rebuilt, and TreVeyon Henderson just stole all the offseason spotlight. Last season reeked of regression, and that stench is still fresh in managers’ minds. Stevenson is being shipped off in trades like he’s expired milk.

But let’s not forget: Mike Vrabel is in, and while Henderson will lead the show, this scheme needs a between-the-tackles bruiser. That’s still Stevenson. He’s under contract, and he’s going to be leaned on — especially early — while Henderson finds his footing.

He's currently RB50 in dynasty rankings. That’s absurd. You can likely land him for a 3rd — maybe less — and what you’re getting is a volume-based floor play with contingent upside if Henderson stumbles or gets banged up.

Verdict: Buy low for a 3rd. Not flashy, but the kind of depth piece that makes the difference in December.
